she's back and things

To anyone who cared and had read my whole four or five posts on here, I am back, and I think I might actually be inclined to start updating this thing regularly, because that would at the very least be mildly entertaining to Kevin. (Hi Kevin.) Also, Jon* asked me a few days ago if I had a blog, and I was going to say no until I remembered that (oh fuck,) I do. So yes. Time to rant again.

I am currently ditching class because of two things:

1) I slept through Japanese class, in which I apparently have some sort of huge test today
2) I am scheduled for 2:00pm even though my damned manager knows I have class until four.

And to this I say : Oh well, and this only adds weight to the fact that I am, evidently, the worst student ever. Hurray for me. I hear the first step to recovery is admiting that you have a problem, and Now I have done so. Yay, or something. Too bad I don't feel the need to recover. Ah, if only I had figured out that I hate academia before I had racked up $10,000+ in student loans. I hate me sometimes.

On a completely unrelated note, I went to a show on Friday at the Fox theatre, and wow. Wow. The headlining band was the Firey Furnaces, and ultimately the reason Kevin and I went to the show, but wow. Oh Dios Malos, how I love you.** The lead singer guy is totally John Roderick's twin. And if that isn't true, well, they sure as hell sound a lot alike. And that, my friends, is a good thing.

I might come back a bit later and try to remember the highlights of my trip to Pleasanton back in March that don't involve kickball. There were several, as I recall, and a lot of them involved both Simang Island/s and Halo 2 and that Chinese guy of mine... What was his name again...? Ohhh, Kingsley? I don't know... (hehhehheh)

Reguardless, I have about seven windows open right now and ought to close at least a few of them.

-Ashley
