i been straight branded, fools.

Heidi (King's mom) handed me this orange box and said 'Happy birthday!' It had a jade bracelet in it. Evidently she went all over the place looking for a bangle which was

1) small enough for my tiny, tiny wrists
and
2) also unique enough (Because things for me, apparently, have to be interesting and unique.)

At the risk of sounding too entirely girly, I really, really like it.

I had to squeeze all of my fingers together and push the bracelet down to get it on my hand, and now it is on there FOREVER. (Which is sort of the way these jade bracelet things work, as I understand.) I bruised my hand in two different places putting the thing on. (Oddly enough I am okay with this.)

I am now apparently officially Chinese. (Or at the very least as Chinese as a white girl can be.)
